The Kremlin is adamant that rumors about Russian President Vladimir Putin’s ill health are only rumors.
But Putin has not been meeting his scheduled events over the past couple of months.
In early November, Putin spokesman Dmitry Peskov confirmed that Putin suffered from some illness. He denied it was an “injury” and characterized it as a “mismovement.”
In the ensuing weeks, Putin has not been seen in public and has remained at his dacha outside Moscow. Meetings with foreign dignitaries have been either canceled or postponed.
