Justice! Black man demands, receives free ‘reparations’ coffee from Starbucks

by WorldTribune Staff, April 19, 2018

A Starbucks barista complied when a black man demanded a free coffee as “reparations” for the coffee chain’s alleged racism.

Bryan Sharpe gets his ‘reparations’ coffee.

In a video that has gone viral, Bryan Sharpe says “I heard y’all was racist, so I came to get my free coffee.”

The white barista responds, “I saw that,” referencing the recent incident in at a Starbucks in Philadelphia in which two black men were arrested for “defiant trespassing.”

The barista adds that’s “Not our store.”

Sharpe responds: “I heard you guys don’t like black people, so I came to get my Starbucks reparations voucher.”

The barista obliges and asks Sharpe if he wants milk or flavoring with his coffee. Sharpe opts for both.

“That’s what I’m talking about! This is justice,” Sharpe says. “This is justice. This is what I’m talking about.”

Toward the end of the video, Sharpe can be heard saying, “Black privilege gets me free coffee. I love racism. Only in America.”

What many media reports on the incident fail to note, however, is that Sharpe, who is also a vlogger with the handle Hotep Jesus, “appears to be a conservative by every account,” TheBlaze reported on April 18.

“On his video page, he blasts liberals in a large variety of videos, lamenting that ‘the evil left controls us all,’ ” the report noted.

Sharpe told TheBlaze, “Racism is a business. Thanks to the ridiculousness of BLM activists, it’s the new publicity stunt – and I think I just proved it.”

In response to the Philadelphia incident, Starbucks announced that it will close 8,000 stores on May 29 to provide “racial-bias training” to about 175,000 employees.
