‘Mules’: Stealth stars of documentary trigger cognitive dissonance crisis

Paid “mules” making multiple visits in the wee hours to ballot boxes and the offices of left wing organizations, often wearing and disposing of gloves in the process, were the stars of a documentary that has the establishment media in crisis mode.

Georgia Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, one of the favorite targets of the leftist cancel culture mob, told Dinesh D’Souza that she was “blown away” by his “2000 Mules” film which documents massive evidence of illegal ballot harvesting in the 2020 election.

“It truly exposed what happened with voter fraud with the absentee ballots and all the trafficking and the ‘mules’ in the 2020 election,” Greene said on D’Souza’s May 11 podcast. She also gave a shout out to True the Vote, which provided much of the evidence presented in the documentary.

Despite its overwhelming commercial success, major media, including Fox News, are continuing their blackout of “2000 Mules.” A dispute between D’Souza and the Tucker Carlson show led to D’Souza canceling his appearance.

“In a familiar pattern, left-wing fact-checkers furiously try to hide the damning proof of election fraud in the 2020 election presented in Dinesh D’Souza’s documentary 2000 Mules,” wrote Jonathon Moseley for American Thinker.  “But those “fake checkers” clearly did not actually watch the film.”

“After mainstream journalists became discredited as biased, left-wing propagandists, very suddenly, a new fad sprang up: fact-checkers.  Now the same journalists whom we stopped believing in the normal news are suddenly believable because they call themselves ‘fact-checkers’,” he noted.

In less than two weeks after full release, “2000 Mules”, produced by Salem Media Group and directed by D’Souza, has already become the most successful political documentary in a decade. More than 1 million people have seen the film, which is now available for download and DVD purchase on SalemNOW.com. It has also become a huge hit on Rumble and its Locals platform.

“2000 Mules” has already grossed $10 million in revenue, and in net revenue it is the most successful documentary since “Obama’s America”, produced by D’Souza ten years ago.

“The movie is a success financially for sure, but also it is successful in its political and cultural influence,” said D’Souza. “It’s the most talked about movie out there right now, making headlines in multiple publications, and is trending extremely high on social media.”
