Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has said that if the next U.S. president tears up last year’s nuclear agreement with world powers, Iran will “light it on fire.”

The remarks, published on Khamenei’s official website on June 14, appeared to be aimed at Donald Trump.

The presumptive Republican contender for the White House has called the nuclear agreement “catastrophic” and vowed to renegotiate it.

Khamenei also accused the United States of dragging its feet on lifting sanctions in the banking and insurance sectors.

“The Americans have not carried out an important part of their commitments as we have done,” said Khamenei, who has the final say on all major issues in Iran.

Crippling economic sanctions against Iran were lifted in January as part of the 2015 nuclear accord, under which the Islamic republic curbed its nuclear program.

But Iran is struggling to access financing from abroad, as many banks fear breaking the remaining U.S. restrictions.
