Russia’s Navy announced on September 26 that the vessel had completed its voyage from the Northern Fleet.

Construction on the Vladimir Monomakh began in 2006. It was handed over to the navy in 2014.

It is Russia’s third Borei-class submarine and is armed with 16 Bulava submarine-launched intercontinental nuclear missiles, each carrying six to 10 warheads.
