The state-owned Saudi Aramco said crude oil production reached 3.47
billion barrels in 2012.

Aramco said the figure, which amounted to more than 9.1
million barrels per day, marked the highest production in its history.

“Demand for oil and gas products is forecast to grow at a healthy pace
supported by abundant resources, and Saudi Aramco continues to significantly contribute to maintaining the global availability of these resources,” Aramco said in a statement.

Aramco also reported an increase in exports — from 2.42 billion barrels
in 2011 to 2.52 billion last year. The company said most of the increase
consisted of exports to East Asia.
