CAIRO — Libya’s military has taken over two rebel-held oil export terminals.

The Libyan Army said troops were deployed at the ports of Hariga and Zueitina ports along the Mediterranean Sea.

On April 10, officials said the military was helping return the Hariga crude export terminal to normal operations.

“It has lifted the state of force majeure on Al Hariga,” the state-owned National Oil Co. said.

Hariga was said to have an export capacity of 110,000 barrels per day. It was not clear when Zueitina would come under full government control.

Tripoli now seeks to recover the other rebel-held oil ports of Ras Lanouf and Sidra.
