From the Editors after 16 years: Best is yet to come

___

Dear Readers,

More than sixteen years ago in December 1998, WorldTribune.com published its first edition and has never missed a weekday since.

Thank you for your interest and support!

That said, we are not satisfied, and ask the favor of your attention to future plans.

When WorldTribune launched, we did not know what to expect or how long we would continue. Much to our surprise, WorldTribune quickly achieved orbit.

thepressMany of us involved in WorldTribune had been foreign correspondents for other publications, and had been repeatedly told by our former editors that there is no market in America for foreign news. We wanted to prove them wrong, and we believe we have.

That success is due to you, our loyal readers. And we are proud on this occasion to salute our distinguished writers and publishing partners.

But the time has come to expand operations and make WorldTribune and its affiliated intelligence reports even more essential for discerning readers and known to a wider audience. We would love to hear your ideas on how to improve coverage, extend WorldTribune‘s reach, or even if you are interested in becoming involved in WorldTribune‘s editorial or business areas.

Please feel free to contact me.
