Islamic State of Iraq and Levant (ISIL) praised the wave of stabbings in Israel and released a video calling for more attacks in Israel.

ISIL’s videos praising the attacks were heavily promoted on social media under the hashtag #BeheadtheJew and one video was named “Message to the Mujahideen in Jerusalem, Behead the Jews.”

A report by Arutz Sheva said ISIL’s videos featured scenes of the Temple Mount and included a rally cry to Muslims to “liberate Al Aqsa” and “wage jihad against the Jews.”

ISIL’s endorsement of the violence in Israel followed similar statements by Iran, Al Qaida and Hizbullah.

Many Muslims fear Israel is seeking to change the status quo at the Temple Mount, where Jews are allowed to visit but not pray. Israel has said it would not change the status quo.

One ISIL video featured the image of 18-year-old Hadil al-Hashlamoun, who was killed in the West Bank city of Hebron by an Israeli soldier on Sept. 22, and the voice of what is believed to be ISIL leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi saying “we will have our revenge.”

Another video, “Message to the Mujaheddin in Jerusalem,” shows ISIL jihadists praising the stabbing attacks and calls for more attacks by Palestinians.

“I recommend that you take the path of Jihad, which God tells you to follow, I bless this jihad against the Jews. Strike fear in their hearts, they are the enemies of God,” said one terrorist.

A jihadist brandishing an American-made automatic rifle said in the video that “a victory is coming to the mujahedin of Al Aqsa from above, you are the ones who start but we will continue it.”
