“Iran has no intention to interfere in, dominate or attack other countries or plunder their resources,” Rowhani said. “But at the same time we will stand up to any aggression.”

Th eGhader was identified as a coastal missile with a range of 300 kilometers. The Nasser Basir was designed to contain a guidance seeker and meant to “operate in silence.”

The Defense Ministry unveiled the Karar-4 UAV, designed to track manned aircraft. The other UAV was identified as Mohajer-4, also meant for reconnaissance operations.

Iran was said to have acquired technology from captured U.S. Air Force UAVs. In May 2014, the Defense Ministry said it copied the RQ-170 Sentinel UAV, forced down over Iran in 2011.

Officials said Iran’s military would not be affected by negotiations on the nation’s nuclear program. They said the military was meant to conduct defensive operations.

“The Iranian negotiators don’t hold any talks on the country’s defense systems and equipment,” Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi said.
