Hamas displayed its M-75 rocket in a ceremony in Gaza City on March 10.

The M-75 was deemed a Palestinian variant of Iran’s Fajr-5 rocket and contained a range of up to 80 kilometers.

The M-75 was displayed amid Hamas efforts to develop and produce medium- and long-range rockets.

In the eight-day war with Israel in 2012, Hamas fired several M-75s, which reached Tel Aviv and the outskirts of Jerusalem.

Hamas did not provide details of M-75. But officials said the rocket reflected enhanced cooperation between the Islamist regime and Iran.

“The Hamas movement and Iran have taken special measures, and we will
see many changes in these relations soon,” Hamas Foreign Minister Mahmoud Zahar said.
