Bill Clinton, not Trump, appears in ISIL recruiting video

Hillary Clinton was correct when she said Islamic State of Iraq and Levant (ISIL) is using a prominent U.S. politician in a recruiting video.

She just had the politician’s name and party wrong.

“As it turns out there is a prominent American featured in an ISIL recruiting video and that person is Bill Clinton,” RedState reported.

During the Dec. 19 Democratic debate in New Hampshire, Hillary Clinton claimed ISIL was using videos of Donald Trump “insulting Islam and Muslims in order to recruit more radical jihadists.”

“We also need to make sure that the really discriminatory messages that Trump is sending around the world don’t fall on receptive ears. He is becoming ISIL’s best recruiter,” Clinton said during the debate hosted by ABC News.

The Associated Press reported that there is “no evidence” to support Clinton’s claim that the terrorist organization is using videos of Trump to recruit new members.

Clinton’s campaign could not verify her statement, either, the AP report said.

“Clinton spokeswoman Jennifer Palmieri acknowledged the campaign is aware of no such ISIL video or that jihadis are capitalizing on Trump’s comments about Muslims through social media.”

RedState reported that ISIL has released a new video titled “No Respite”.

Bill Clinton is called a “fornicator” in the ISIL video, which also features President Barack Obama, Vice President Joe Biden and Secretary of State John Kerry.

But, “Donald Trump is not among them,” RedState pointed out.
