On Sept. 23, Total reported its resumption of production from an offshore platform, making the French company the first to resume operations in Libya since the ouster of Col. Moammar Gadhafi.

The Al Jurf platform, located 100 kilometers from Libya's western coast and operated by Mabruk Oil, resumed operations toward full capacity of 40,000 barrels per day.
