Italy's Eni, a leading energy developer, said Libya's crude oil output
decreased by 75 percent this month, Middle East Newsline reported. As a result, Libya was producing
no more than 75,000 barrels per day.
"There's a sense of general insecurity," Eni chief executive officer
Paolo Scaroni said.

Foreign energy developers and operators have reported attacks on their
facilities throughout Libya. The state-owned China National Petroleum Corp.
said several projects in Libya were targeted and that many of its employees
were evacuated.
