Israel: Iran shifting arms smuggling routes from Syria to the Sinai
TEL AVIV — Israel is expanding its monitoring of Iranian weapons smuggling to Egypt.
Officials said the Israel Navy has been ordered to increase patrols near Egyptian territorial waters in an effort to halt the smuggling of Iranian arms.
