Report: Iran building cyber army to guard web, thwart external forces
Iran is building a "cyber army" of 250,000 people to confront threat and external penetrations from the West, according to a pro-government Iranian news outlet, the Mashregh News, quoting a French newspaper report.
"It is aimed at combating corruption on the Internet to achieve an 'Internet nation' to better protect the beliefs and values of its people," the report said.
