Iran regime closely tracking, weighing options for intervention in Syria
NICOSIA — Iran has been reassessing its support for the regime of Syrian President Bashar Assad.
Western intelligence sources said the mullah regime in Teheran was closely monitoring the revolt in Syria and whether this would endanger Iranian interests.
