U.S. enjoys Suez access but Egypt, like Turkey, seen going own way
WASHINGTON — The U.S. Navy has been granted extensive use of the Suez Canal, a report said.
The Congressional Research Service said the U.S. Navy sends warships and supply vessels through the canal every few days. In a report, CRS said Egypt has also allowed the U.S. Navy to deploy nuclear warships through Suez.
