Al Qaida exploiting unrest, taking aim at Yemeni special forces
CAIRO — Al Qaida has resumed targeting Yemen's special operations forces.
At least four soldiers have been killed in eastern Yemen amid massive unrest in the Gulf Arab state. Officials said Al Qaida ambushed a patrol by the Republican Guard on March 6 in the Maarib province.
"We believe the terrorists are taking advantage of the weak security situation," an official said.
