U.S. Centcom calls off dialogue with Syria over continuing terror ties
WASHINGTON — U.S. officials said military cooperation efforts between U.S. Central Command and the regime of President Bashar Assad have been suspended.
The officials said the key obstacle was Syria's harboring of Iranian proxies deemed terrorists by the State Department.
