Three of six Persian Gulf states quietly allow Iran Navy visits

NICOSIA — The Gulf Cooperation Council has granted docking rights to the Iranian Navy. Officials said at least three Gulf states have agreed to allow Iranian Navy vessels to dock in their ports. They said this included Oman, Qatar and Saudi Arabia, regarded as leading allies of the United States.
