Turkey expanding defense presence in Africa, signs deal with Nigeria
ANKARA — Officials said the government of Turkish Prime Minister Recep Erdogan was discussing defense and military cooperation with several states in Africa.
They said the biggest potential market was that of Nigeria, which on Feb. 2 signed a defense accord with Ankara.
