Democratic Mongolia squeezed by China, Russia over energy project

The democratic government of Mongolia is being squeezed by both Russia and China over a coal mining development project worth an estimated $8 billion. Intelligence sources said Russia is attempting to block the Ulan Bator government, which is pro-Western and hopes to move closer to the United States, from working with China over the Tavan Tolgoi coal mine project.
