AMMAN — Jordan could be the next Arab regime ripe for popular unrest. Western diplomatic sources said the opposition to the Hashemite kingdom was growing rapidly. They said the opposition was led by the Muslim Brotherhood and has been successful in mobilizing tens of thousands of people to demand an end to the government of Prime Minister Samir Rifai.
