Cables detail Chinese indifference to U.S. concerns over continuous arms proliferation to rogue states
New details of Chinese arms proliferation activities, largely kept secret from the U.S. public, were made public last week through a series of cables posted on the anti-secrecy Web site WikiLeaks.
One from Sept. 18, 2009 notes that Chinese firms "continue to evade restrictions" imposed by the Beijing government on arms sales to rogue states.
