A senior Pentagon official said last week that China is following a duplicitous policy regarding military uses of space.
Gregory Schulte, deputy assistant defense secretary for space policy, told reporters that China's January 2007 test of an anti-satellite missile was a "seminal event" and "probably more seminal than the Chinese wanted."
