Gas Enterprise, would transport gas from Iran and Qatar to India.
They said
the 2,000-kilometer pipeline was expected to pump 31.1 billion cubic meters

"We are trying to create an energy corridor," South Asia Gas Enterprise
director Subodh Kumar Jain said. "It is a grand scheme of several pipelines.
It will connect energy producing countries like Iran, Turkmenistan, Qatar,
and will pass through the UAE and Oman, all the way to India."
Officials said Oman was negotiating gas supplies with Iran, Qatar and
Turkmenistan. They said Oman and the United Arab Emirates would also benefit
from the proposed pipeline, which could be completed by 2016.
