A government report said Bahrain increased fuel exports by 10 percent to
42.1 million barrels in the first half of 2010.
The report by the National
Oil and Gas Authority cited an increase in the kingdom's refinery
operations.

"The daily output [of the refinery], which reached a record 270,000
barrels, exceeded the capacity of the refinery, estimated at 260,000
barrels," the report said.
At the same time, Manama reported a slight decline in crude oil
production from January to June 2010 compared to the first half of 2009. The
authority cited maintenance work at the Bahrain Oil Field, which began
production in 1932.
