The Iranian Oil Ministry said the project called for the construction of a 660-kilometer pipeline from Iran to Turkey.

The ministry said the facility was designed to transport up to 60 million meters of gas per day, Middle East Newsline reported.

"It will be constructed within three years," National Iranian Gas Export Co. director Javad Oji said on July 24.
