Hamas's military wing has established a command and control center in the Gaza Strip to coordinate any war against the Jewish state. Hamas's Izzedin Kassam military wing said its new operations center would merge activity with Palestinian militias in the Gaza Strip.

"This will have a huge impact on the occupation [Israel]," Hamas said.

Hamas and Palestinian militias have accumulated missile and rocket arsenals in the Gaza Strip. Palestinian sources said some of the militias, particularly the Iranian-sponsored Islamic Jihad and Popular Resistance Committees, have achieved indigenous production.

The Islamic regime said Hamas's military has reached an advanced stage of cooperation with Palestinian militias. The statement said Hamas and the militias have agreed on strategy, tactics and a division of labor during any war with Israel.

The Hamas announcement came amid heightened tension with several Palestinian militias. In August, Islamic Jihad reported a Hamas crackdown, including arrests and abductions of Jihad operatives.
