"The support for the additional C-130J-30 aircraft will ensure
operational capability and will facilitate movement within the region, as
well as, support U.S. interests," DSCA said.

future regional threats to the sultanate of Oman," the agency said. "The

DSCA said Oman would not have difficulty absorbing support for
the C-130J. Oman already operates two Boeing 747s and one Airbus A320
aircraft.
The prime contractor of the proposed contract was identified as Northrop
Grumman. The agency said there were no known offset agreements.
"Implementation of this proposed sale will require annual trips to Oman
involving up to 10 U.S. Government and 10 contractor representatives for
technical reviews/support, and program management for a period of
approximately six years," DSCA said.
