Turkey foreign policy shift risks strategic relationship with the U.S.
ANKARA — Turkey's Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu is happy working behind the scenes, leaving the spotlight for Prime Minister Recep Erdogan.
But Davutoglu is often credited with the dramatic shift in Turkey's national strategy over the past decade that has seen the warming of relations with Islamic neighbors, military exercises with China and the resulting cooling of ties with Israel and the United States.
