Iran president was warned of assassination plot on trip to Israel border
ABU DHABI — Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is said to have avoided an assassination plot in Lebanon.
Lebanese security sources said Ahmadinejad was forced to change his itinerary during his three-day visit to Lebanon in mid-October.
