Report: Ahmadinejad tells Assad Lebanon must be under Iran control
NICOSIA — Iran has confirmed to Syria its determination that it must control Lebanon as part of any regional war with Israel.
On Sept. 30, the Kuwaiti daily Al Anbaa, regarded as close to the Assad regime, said the Syrian president has been concerned over the Iranian takeover of Lebanon.
