Commission: U.S. cyber security poor, needs private sector input
An independent national security commission reported recently that the threats to the United States by cyber attackers is increasing and concluded that the “U.S. government remains poorly organized and prepared to defend against those threats.”
“The United States lacks legal authorities for the information age, and capabilities and responsibilities are misaligned within the U.S. government,” the report by the independent review team of the Pentagon’s Quadrennial Defense Review stated.
