Israel switches out air-dominated pre-2006 combat doctrine
TEL AVIV — Israel's military has abandoned its combat doctrine that placed air power as the sole determinant in winning wars.
A report by the Begin-Sadat Center for Strategic Studies said the Israeli military command has shelved the doctrine that determined the conduct of war up to 2006.
