Iran ended its suspension of aid to militias in Iraq earlier this year
BAGHDAD — U.S. military officials have determined that Iran has renewed direct support to Shi'ite militias after an apparent suspension of about a year.
The officials said the renewed support included funding, equipment, weapons and training for several militias in preparation for attacks on the U.S. military presence in Iraq.
