LONDON — Middle East states have been briefed on a new advanced French radar. Industry sources said several Gulf Cooperation Council militaries have been briefed on France's new maritime surveillance radar. The radar, developed by the French aerospace research center, Onera, has been touted as a system that could detect ships at a range of 400 kilometers.
