China's military was likely behind the sophisticated computer attack on Google and up to 29 other companies, according to a white paper made public last week by a private research group. Hackers broke into major networks of Google and other high tech companies and stole valuable corporate secrets, while likely also planting access points for future break-ins, according to security specialists familiar with the incident that led Google to move its headquarters from Beijing to Hong Kong.
