Russian spy case evidence points to larger network

The case of 11 Russian “illegal” spies — those operating without the benefit of diplomatic immunity — highlights the growing danger of espionage to the United States from not only Russia but other states like China and Iran, according to counterintelligence sources. The illegal network rolled up by the FBI in Boston, New York and the Washington, DC area represents the largest single disruption of a foreign spying network in more than a decade.
