The Iranian military said it has developed surface and sea-based radar that could track developments in all six GCC states. The military said much of the radar umbrella, directed from the Khatam Al Anbia base, consisted of assets developed in Iran.
"In addition to the southern borders and waters, all Persian Gulf littoral states are under the cover of the radars of the Khatam Al Anbia air defense base," Iranian Gen. Habibollah Alizadeh said.
