Iraq buttresses border with Iran to prevent further incursions

BAGHDAD — Iraq intends to reinforce its northern border to prevent incursions by Iran's military. Officials said the Iraq's military and government have been drafting plans to reinforce patrols along the Iranian border to block infiltration by Teheran. In June, Iranian Army troops punched into northern Iraq and established a presence about three kilometers from the border.
