U.S. wants to exit via Turkey when withdrawing from Iraq

WASHINGTON — The U.S. military has sought agreement from Turkey to help in the American withdrawal from neighboring Iraq. Officials said U.S. Central Command has been negotiating with the government of Prime Minister Recep Erdogan for the right to use Turkey as a route in the military withdrawal from Iraq.
