CAIRO — Algeria has decided to abandon the United States as a potential major military supplier.
Algerian sources said the Defense Ministry intends to halt requests for most weapons and military systems from the United States. The sources said the administration of President Barack Obama has blocked approval of a range of Algerian military and security procurement requests.
