A delegation of U.S. government officials visited China for a week earlier this month as part of a non-government exchange program, despite an official cut-off of U.S.-China military relations.
U.S. officials said the visit of some 20 Americans is part of a program sponsored by the Federal Executive Institute at Tsinghua University, considered China’s MIT.
