Experts still researching whether mine or torpedo sunk the Cheonan

Investigators are continuing to explore whether a North Korean mine or torpedo was responsible for the sinking of the South Korean corvette Cheonan. U.S. experts say North Korea used large numbers of underwater mines in the Wonson area of the peninsula during the Korean war.
