TEL AVIV — Israel has been quietly concerned over the takeover by the United Arab Emirates of a German submarine manufacturer.
Israeli officials said the purchase of Blohm + Voss Shipyards by the UAE's Abu Dhabi MAR Group could disrupt Germany's agreement to sell Dolphin-class Type 209 submarines to the Israel Navy.
