JERUSALEM — Israel and the United States could be heading toward a serious crisis, a report said.
The Jerusalem Center for Public Affairs asserted that Israel and the United States could face a serious crisis in their relations that would affect their response to a nuclear Iran. In a report by former Israeli ambassador to the United Nations, Dore Gold, the center said the tensions between Jerusalem and Washington could lead to a much deeper rift later in 2010 when the administration of President Barack Obama was expected to release a Middle East peace plan.
