WASHINGTON —
A report on a conference sponsored by U.S. Central Command asserted that the UAE Air Force was powerful enough to counter any Iranian attack. The January 2010 conference, also sponsored by the Washington Institute for Near East Policy, said the UAE has accumulated an advanced combat air fleet that could strike Iran.
