At least for the near term, massive instability in the DPRK seems unlikely now that Dear Leader Kim Jong-Il has been successful in installing his third son Kim Jong-Un as successor.
Both Kim, who is in his late 20s, and the elder Kim’s sister, Kim Kyong Hui, were made four-star generals at a delayed party congress that opened in Pyongyang on Sept. 28.
